I'm a one-person web design and hosting service based in Coleraine, working with small businesses across the North Coast and beyond. Wrought Web is just me — no team, no account managers, no ticket queue.
I started Wrought Web because the same thing kept coming up: small business owners with a website that was either out of date, run by someone who didn't reply, or didn't exist at all — and the bigger agencies all wanted thousands of pounds for something that didn't really fit.
So this is the opposite of that. Plain pricing. A short turnaround. A real person to talk to. No tech jargon, no surprise fees, and no chasing a ticket. I build the kind of website I'd want for a business of my own — fast, professional, easy to update, and priced so it stays affordable year after year.

How much does it actually cost?
£99 to build the site, then £25 a month to host it and keep it looked after. Or £270 a year if you'd rather pay annually — that saves you about 10%. There's a 3-month minimum on the monthly fee, then you can cancel any time with 30 days' notice. No hidden fees and no setup costs.
How long until my site is live?
About a week from when you've sent back the questionnaire. We'll have a quick chat first, I'll send you a short questionnaire, and once it comes back I aim to have the first version of your site ready within 7 working days. Then there's time for you to review and ask for changes before it goes live.
What if I don't have all the content ready?
That's normal. Most people don't. The questionnaire is designed to walk you through it — basic info about your business, what you offer, and a few photos if you have them. If writing isn't your thing, I'll help shape the copy. If you don't have professional photos, that's fine too; we can use what you have or pick something appropriate.
Do I own my website?
Yes, the content is yours. Anything about your business — your text, your photos, your logo, your domain — belongs to you and always will. If you ever decide to leave, I'll send you a copy of your site's files and transfer the domain to you. The underlying website framework I built it on stays mine, but the parts that are about your business are yours.
What if I want to cancel later?
After the 3-month minimum, just give 30 days' notice (an email is fine). I'll take the site offline at the end of the notice period and send you an export of your files. No exit fees, no awkward conversations.
Can my customers book online or buy from the site?
Booking — yes. Buying — no. I can link your site to a booking system you already use, like Cliniko, Square, or whatever fits your business. Customers tap a button on your site and book straight into your calendar. Most of my clients work this way. What I don't do is build a full online shop with on-site payment processing — that's a different kind of project, and there are services that already do it well.
Do I have to be near Coleraine?
No, but most of my clients are in Northern Ireland — Coleraine, Portrush, Portstewart and around the North Coast. The whole process can be done over email and a phone call, so anywhere in the UK or Ireland works just as well. Local clients sometimes want to meet for a coffee, which is always welcome.
